Strategi Peningkatan Ketahanan Pangan Rumah Tangga di Kota Pekanbaru

Upaya untuk mewujudkan ketahanan pangan rumah tangga di Kota Pekanbaru masih belum optimal, karena masih terdapat rumah tangga rawan pangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan mengevaluasi faktor internal dan eksternal serta merumuskan strategi peningkatan ketahanan pangan rumah tangga di Kota Pekanbaru. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data: wawancara, Focus Group Discussion (FGD) dan studi dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah evaluasi faktor Internal dan external serta analisis SWOT. Hasil penelitian ini mengidentifikasi 26 faktor strategis peningkatan ketahanan pangan rumah tangga yang terdiri dari 12 faktor internal dan 14 faktor eksternal. Faktor internal yang paling penting adalah ketersediaan pangan cukup baik sedangkan faktor eksternal paling penting adalah letak geografis yang cukup strategis. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi faktor internal dan eksternal, strategi peningkatan ketahanan pangan rumah tangga berada pada kuadran III dengan strategi mengatasi kelemahan dengan memanfaatkan peluang. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan lima alternatif strategi W-O yang kemudian dijabarkan kedalam beberapa rencana aksi untuk meningkatkan ketahanan pangan rumah tangga di Kota Pekanbaru.
