About the Journal

Nakhoda: Jurnal Ilmu Pemerintahan is a journal managed by Government Science Laboratory Fakulty Social Science and Political Science Universitas Riau. Nakhoda: Jurnal Ilmu Pemerintahan has been recognized under ISSN Print: 1829-5827 and ISSN Online: 2656-5277. Nakhoda: Jurnal Ilmu Pemerintahan is published twice a year in June and December. Nakhoda: Jurnal Ilmu Pemerintahan contains a scientific article in the form of theoretical and practical studies, research results, and a review of governmental problems.  Nakhoda: Jurnal Ilmu Pemerintahan has been Accredited by The Decision of The Director-General of Higher Education, Research and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia Number 158/E/KPT/2021 at SINTA 3. Nakhoda: Jurnal Ilmu Pemerintahan aims to be an inspiration for the reader and a means of scientific publication for academics at the faculty of social science and political science Universitas Riau as well as practitioners and academics from other universities.

Journal History

Nakhoda: Jurnal Ilmu Pemerintahan is a journal managed by the Governmental Science Laboratory, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Riau University. Nakhoda: Jurnal Ilmu Pemerintahan was first published in 2004 in print and open access (online versions) in 2011 in Vol. 10 No. 15. Nakhoda: Jurnal Ilmu Pemerintahan from 2004 published with 6 editions of articles, but since 2020 there have been additional edited articles to 8 units. This addition was made considering the high interest of the authors to submit and publish articles in Nakhoda: Jurnal Ilmu Pemerintahan. Nakhoda: Jurnal Ilmu Pemerintahan since 2011 can be accessed on the website page https://nakhoda.ejournal.unri.ac.id/index.php/JIPN with OJS 2, since 2020 Vol. 19 No. 2 was upgraded to OJS 3 to maximize the service and publication process of articles and can be accessed on the website https://nakhoda.ejournal.unri.ac.id/index.php/njip.
